For each uncovered or partially covered topic: why Swedish media have not taken it, how Antler Bio could, which data exists, and an example headline. All angles are ideas to validate with you.
No Swedish company or research group has brought the topic to the trade press. The term "genuttryck" sounds like laboratory science, and editors have had no farm-level story to hang it on. The closest Swedish coverage is genomic selection, which is a different thing.
An explainer for Tidningen Husdjur's research pages and Jordbruksaktuellt, written in farmer language: genetics says what a cow could do, gene activity says what she is doing today, and why that is different on every farm. Best with a Swedish veterinarian or SLU researcher commenting and a Swedish farm example.
Blood sample from about 10 percent of the herd, about 27 000 genes measured, results within about a week (trade press reports). Developed with the University of Nottingham, three Innovate UK projects, around 150 farms in Europe.

The Swedish pilot farm story: one real farm, baseline figures, what the analysis showed, what was changed (feed, water, housing), what happened after three and six months, in the farmer's words with an independent advisor commenting. Pitched as a feature to Husdjur or ATL first, then regional press near the farm.

Jordbruksverket's releases are reported nationally the same day by four or five titles, then dropped. The county tables exist but nobody turns them into local stories, so regional papers and P4 stations rarely cover dairy structure at all.

Feed is the largest cost on a dairy farm, but coverage is either supplier material or older how-to pieces. There is no recent story that connects feed efficiency to something farms can measure inside the herd.
"Same ration, different result": explain why two cows on the same feed convert it differently, and what the biological signals say about energy metabolism. Works as a Husdjur research piece or an ATL economy angle when milk prices fall and feed costs stay high.

Coverage appears when a study or a rule changes (calcium treatment and Vila rules in Husdjur 2026, organic herds in ATL 2024). "Blood test reveals cows at risk" was a Jordbruksaktuellt story years ago; nobody has updated it for gene activity.

Husdjur has covered vitamin needs at pasture and selenium in soil, but always from the feed side. No Swedish article connects mineral status to measured herd performance, and Sweden's selenium-poor soils make the topic locally relevant.

Fertility is covered as a management and breeding topic (waiting periods, calving interval, sexed semen, embryos). The biological state of the cow behind the numbers is not part of the conversation.

Recruitment appears inside farm features and cost pieces ("kokviga"), rarely as a science topic. Early-life biology and its effect on the first lactation has no Swedish coverage.

"Kvigans första 100 dagar avgör mer än man trott"
Swedish tech press writes about agritech when there is Swedish money, a Swedish founder or a Swedish customer. Antler Bio's June 2025 round was reported by EU-Startups, Tech.eu, Vestbee and The Times, but not by Breakit or Di Digital.
Wait for a Swedish event: first Swedish farms announced, a Swedish partnership (advisory organisation, dairy, SLU) or a Swedish hire. Then the funding history and Nottingham background become the supporting facts for a Breakit, Agtech Sweden or Ny Teknik story.

The spring 2026 barometer was reported as a bank survey and moved on. Nobody has followed up with what the remaining farms, large or small, can do to get more from the herd they already have before deciding to build or quit.
Comment or short data piece: before a new barn, find the bottlenecks in the existing herd. Ties the barometer, the milk price cuts of early 2026 and the yield records together. Fits ATL and Land Lantbruk's economy coverage.
